We called it "New Wave" in the 80's. Never heard of "Post Punk" until now.

tough to play those high frets on these sg double necks. I had the epiphone version of this guitar in the the 90s and I sent it back to sweetwater for that reason

I named my brother after Randy RIP to them both! They were both gone too early (young). Yea, my brother was a great guitarist as well.

But was famously ranked below Karen Carpenter in Playboy's list of the best drummers. He was upset because she beat him. She was worried that he might be mad at her. Says a lot about both of them

To me, as a fan of sci-fi, the song is of a space equivalent of a trucker. Flying through the solar system, dropping off supplies to outposts five days a week (Thanks to FTL). But missing his family all the same.

Hmm, not really, is it? It's nowhere near psychedelic enough for the 60's. It's a harsh, simple tune, really, and nowhere near ahead of anyone's time. Its harsh tone could break some eardrums. Not nice.

So don't call it post punk!! We didn't, it was mainly what was called 'punk' evolving. Every band in the first wave sounded different anyway.
